the sick day
Oct. 16th, 2014 11:37 pm[The thing about extended periods of stressful work is that they increase risk of illness, and Billy is no exception. He's far too engrossed in his latest project to be stopped by some coughs and chills, but his hooves are shaking. And that's not helping. His magic's not doing much better, fizzling out whenever he sneezes.
So he ends up leaning on his work bench for support, just resting his eyes a little. He can get through this. Really. But he hears a familiar thumping into the room, so he uses his strength to wave a hoof.]
Hey Skyfire. I'm sorry things got a little delayed, but it'll still be done by tomorrow. I'll---I'll see to it.
[In his condition? Unlikely. But he'll sure try.]
